Repair folks coming tomorrow but in the mean time...any ideas?
I am home with a six week old baby and trying to think of options. |
This can happen a few different ways, but the most common one is that there is a clog in the pipe or the system is otherwise working too hard, causing water to accumulate in the pan, lifting a float and turning off the machine. Often times a thorough cleaning and then resetting the fuse will resolve the problem. If you need a temporary solution replace the filter, so the system does not need to work as hard.

Also possible if pipe from compressor is frozen. Might just need new insulation. |

This happened when my DH put the filter in the wrong way. |
turn it off. Let it rest. Turn back on. May be frozen which will need to be addressed but you can get a little more work out of it in the meantime by unfreezing. |
Yep, was going to say to replace the filter. It might be really dirty which strains the system. |
