I'm considering a high-end/natural wool carpet for a new addition to my house. How much should I budget? I know the product itself is about $8/sq ft. How much extra is padding and installation? Should I budget using a per sq ft number?

Why not just get a quote from the carpet store where you found the carpet you like.
If you're still looking for carpet Home Depot often offers free installation so you would only pay for padding, measuring and the carpet. |
