See this is when I feel old. I watch tv today and think they don't make tv like they used to. The writing is no longer creative, funny, or pushing the edge of acceptability.

What writing? They put drunk trophy wives or former internet sex tape stars in front of a camera and call it entertainment.

I remember watching this as a teen in the 90s on one of those throwback channels. My dad would watch with me sometimes. I thought it was hilarious and I was shocked at some of the story lines. I'm glad to hear it's still on. I'll have to check it out.

I give Billy Crystal a lot of credit for taking on that role especially at that time.

Off the top of my head the next openly gay TV character I can think of was that guy on Melrose Place.
