The forum software attempts to use caching and to make pages cacheable in order to speed things up. Sometimes, if an end user is behind a web proxy, or web cache, that also behaves aggressively, you get stale data -- or an older version of the page that has been cached. This can also occur if you are using some sort of "web acceleration" software. What you are describing fits this scenario perfectly. Have you noticed a correlation between the stale page you are getting and the last time you visited the website? My guess is that you are getting the version of a page cached during your previous visit. Refreshing the page should give you the current version, but it sounds like that is not always working for you. Some web browsers also have a "force refresh" feature that works a little better. Unfortunately, there is probably nothing you can to about this problem beyond refreshing because its most likely related to a cache server at your work. My guess is that the people administering that service will have very little sympathy about you getting stale DCUM pages.
