I see the Argonaut Tavern has a kids menu... what do you think? Any other suggestions? Many thanks!
Argaonaut is a good casual choice for kids of most ages. I think it depends on how old your child is and when you want to go, but we have taken our infant to granville moores too - just went early before there was a crazy wait, and it was fine. there is also Taylor, which is either on the 1100 or 1000 block of H, which is an Italian deli with great food and a casual atmosphere.
Granville Moore's is almost directly across from the Atlas. Kid friendly, good food and good beer. Go early since it gets crowded.

I wouldn't describe Granville Moore's as kid-friendly. It's narrow, crowded (even if it's not full, it's just a small restaurant). I guess it depends on what age you're talking about -- there's no room for strollers, and I would be shocked if they had high chairs or a kid's menu. I don't think they do. I love the restaurant, but I wouldn't take my baby or toddler there.
Sticky Rice is more kid-friendly than Granville Moore's (more room, kid's menu -- or at least more options), and I think the Argonaut actively courts families and kids. |
I've heard people say good things about taking families to the Argonaut (on the Moms on the Hill list), although I've not been there myself.
Thanks all. We went to the Argonaut and had a nice dinner.
