We are a team of 10, working same work but for different entities. I switched one of my entity with one of my colleague. But I am getting tired dealing with this person.
Whenever this person find an error in my old files, not a technical error, but something like I did not save a particular document in a right folder, this person will come to me and ask me to put it at the right place, only because at that time, that was my responsibility. On the other hand, me I took over other people entities in the past and whenever I noticed those kind of errors ( they are not technical) I will fix them, and move on without bordering the other person. I am doing it wrong ? or my colleague who took over my entity is right? |
| Your colleague is an unbelievable ass. |
| Maybe you could ask if they know how to cut/copy paste files and use save as. Basically make them feel stupid for asking you to do it by acting super helpful. What an ass. He/she just wants to rub your face in things that are irrelevant, but technically "wrong". |
Something similar, "You don't need to ask me about moving that file. If it should be somewhere else, feel free to move it." |
| Hey Bill. While I am definitely here to support you should you need some consultation or for institutional memory, I'm really no longer assigned to provide day-to-day support for that project; that's your responsibility. Let me know if you have any questions. |

That's what happens when you take over someone's work, you have to fix whatever errors they made before you.
Your coworker needs to get a grip and do THEIR job. |
| Yikes no one is perfect. Errors are going to be found. Next time this person comes to you say, "I was wondering how long it would take you to find this one. Now let's see if you can spot the next 10 mistakes." |
I love this
