I got the following ultrasound report and it is un-intelligible to me. I dont have my dr appointment for a week and would love someone to explain it in lay-man terms (English). Is this bad? I've had massive mood swings lately and am worried something was off with my ovaries - esp my left one (it's been hurting and sore during my period). Anyone know how to read this?
Left Ovary: Measures 2.3 x 2.6 x 2.5 cm. Small nodular mixed isoechoic/hypoechoic focus with slight vascularity is seen in the left ovary, measuring 1.8 x 1.2 x 1.7 cm, which is compatible with an involuting corpus hemorrhagicum, as incidental finding. Normal blood flow. |
