I have not been able to forget about this story after I read it in the New Yorker. I hope his family finds peace and the system is reformed. This is just so sad.

I didn't watch the embedded links to the prison beatings. I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. If we were only kind to each other the outcome would be so different.

Rubio is funded by the prison industry.

I could be wrong, but I don't think NYC has privatized prisons.
