Switching from electric range to gas range?

Hi

Our new house has an electric range and we'd like to switch over to a gas range. The house has gas heat And a gas line run outside for the grill.

What kind of professional would we call to run the line to the kitchen?

Call a plumber to run the gas line. Call a good local appliance store to ask for recommendations.

There was a pretty comprehensive post about this a few months ago--the cost can vary widely depending on the layout of your house and where the line comes in.
