| ...is that normal? Nobody told me to expect it - I thought it would two weeks or so. |
| Are you getting ready for a fresh transfer? If yes, then you definetly do not want your period since it means your lining is shedding. If not then I think it's fine! |
| Not typical, the meds should keep your lining from shedding. However, you may be on a different regimen not everybody is familiar with or something. Call your nurse. |
I'm doing PGS and freeze-all. |
| I did a freeze all cycle as well, and got my period 6 days after retrieval. This is not unusual. |
| It's normal if you stop meds after retrieval. I got my periodn4 days after ER, in a freeze-all cycle. |
| This is totally normal for a freeze all cycle. I got mine 4 or 5 days after retrieval during my freeze all. Sending you best wishes for your FET! |

Thanks everyone - asked the doc today when she called to update me on my embryos. She said it's totally normal with a Lupron trigger. Phew!
Now, praying for success! |
| Posting here because there is such limited content for donors researching this very question. A lot of research and forums address questions pertaining to IVF and the next steps for implantation, but for those of us who are not continuing hormones and coming down off of the egg retrieval want answers! So, to any fellow donors out there, I had a Lupron trigger (because I had high estrogen and hcg would put me at risk for OHSS) and a 34 egg retrieval. Egg retrieval was on a Wednesday, and just 4 days later on Sunday I got my period. I reached out to my medical team and they said this was fine and that I could resume my birth control at this time! I'm curious if this means my ovaries have shrunk down some more now? Hoping to resume exercise soon! |
