...is admitting you have a problem. Jeff, I can't stop, can't get off this train. Believe me, I've tried. I'm facing two major back-to-back professional deadlines, but I can't stop popping by to read through posts and respond. I love it here. I love it heeeeeere. The racial politics, the practical advice, the child management scenarios, the break-ups!! My friends have been getting a constant stream of "well, on my mommy site" for nearly seven (7) years now. Insufferable! I thought I'd find it less useful and engaging after I was well into this motherhood thing. But, noooooo! It's a gorgeous day, and here I am in the garden, posting like a champ (or a person with a serious DCUM problem). I don't Facebook or tweet, never thought of Instagram, and am only occasionally on Pinterest. Great blogs have come and gone. But DCUM remains my constant. Did you have any idea that it would be like this when you crafted this site? Be kind, Jeff. One look and you know I'm on here incessantly. ![]() ![]() ![]() Think of this as a Jeff Appreciation comment. Okay...now, back to work for a few minutes before I check back on that AMA thread! |
You are making me feel like a drug dealer ("Here try some free DCUM, you can quit anytime you want, I swear..."). But, believe me, I am not the one who makes DCUM interesting. You have to blame the posters for that.
No, we never expected the the website would succeed as it has. Very little about the website has been planned. We've just been riding the wave, so to speak. I'm glad that you are enjoying it and thanks for the appreciation! |
