Where to put soap on pedestal sink

A few days ago there was a post complaining about hainv separate faucets for hot and cold water. I laughed at that poster but am not realizing the problem. We haves pedestals in the guest/basement bath with two faucets. There is simply no room to prop a soap dispenser bottle. Any ideas or recommendations for a really narrow base soap bottle?
