I'm curious about the good and bad in others marriages. I'll start.
pros: caring fun-loving hardworking and disciplined about work reliable takes good care of home and yard social, good at mingling at parties and events average looks but type i am attracted to cons: bad with money immature at times selfish at times lower sex drive unadventurous No one is perfect and I count myself very lucky to have found my SO. Pro:
Kind, loyal Devoted to home and family Great dad Athletic Handsome though not showily so Funny Smart Does tons around the house Con: Moody Introverted (doesn't like socializing) Not aggressive at work, not a go- getter in traditional sense (though has a good job) Feel like I won the husband lottery. |

Pro:
Attractive Great dad Cares about his extended family Usually goes along with whatever activity I plan and doesn't complain Ambitious Intelligent- I remember having boyfriends who I felt like I couldn't have an intelligent conversation with and thinking "I have to marry a guy who can hold a smart conversation." Generous and helpful Cons: His ambition can get the best of him. I sometimes wish he was that guy who would happily stay at a job for 5+ years but mine likes to bounce around when he gets bored or feels he isn't being utilized. It isn't bad. It's just for my personality it can be stressful. Can be prickly and sensitive Not great with money Overall I am very lucky. |

Pros:
Smart Funny Hard working and ambitious Good with kids Similar values to me Handsome Athletic and cares about his body Easy going Friendly Generous Patient and sweet Fun and up for anything Good with money Responsible Cons: Not terribly sophisticated Not a great dresser We don't like many of the same foods Terrible at planning trips, outings Not a great gift-giver Overall I lucked out. I still don't understand what he sees in me, but we have a great relationship and I know he loves me. |

Your attitude is good in that you are keeping things real & in the proper perspective.
I didn't see any deal-breakers in your "con" list. Each and every one of us has flaws...So our spouses may have little things that we wish were different about them, but are we void of any of these flaws ourselves...?? No way. |

1512 here and I agree. I used to date more "alpha" types but I think my husband's easygoing nature and laid back kindness and preferable in a life partner. |
