Has anyone purchased a comfortable Ikea mattress for under $400 (under $300 even better!)? Just wondering which model to buy online if I want to go that route, and if any mattresses at the lower price point are actually comfortable enough to sleep on regularly.
Thanks! |
Depends what you like. I have one of their cheapest ones in my son's room. It's fairly firm but very comfortable if you like firm. No lumps or springs or anything. |
We have Holmsta and love it but it's not one of the cheaper ones. That being said, remember you don't need to change the box spring. Ikea is very happy to only sell the mattress. |
I was very underwhelmed with the mattresses at Ikea and I didn't feel they were a good value for the price. Instead, I went to Sears and bought a standard name brand mattress. It's more comfortable than anything I sat on at Ikea. |
I have a Sultan that I like OK, but seven years in, there's a pretty serious dip in the middle. |
