We are upgrading to a king-size bed (finally!), so I am buying lots of new bedding. I need a new duvet, and I am considering one made by Feathered Friends, a Seattle company. Specifically, I am considering the Bavarian Medium 700. Does anyone have any input on Feathered Friends generally, or the Bavarian 700 specifically?
Feathered Friends recently started using cruelty-free goose down, which is admirable, but it is not my number one consideration. I am most interested in comfort. I am also looking at duvets from Bloomingdales (where I got my current Queen-size duvet), Cuddledown, and The Company Store. An LL Bean duvet also comes highly recommended, but the king-size is sold out. I have seen recommendations on here for all of these duvets, but nothing - one way or the other - on Feathered Friends. Thanks! |
I have allergies to feathers. Wake up with a stuffy nose and headache if I sleep on a feathered pillow/under feather duvet. Took me years to figure out it was the feathers! No advice other than be sure you and anyone else who might sell under the duvet do not suffer from these allergies. |
