Does anyone have ideas about sun protection for skylights?
We get so much heat in during the hot days, I am looking for a solution. Ideas? |
I didn't know people still had skylights.

In case you are looking for actual home improvement advice: We finished our third floor and our worst mistake was adding a skylight. We couldn't do a dormer so we wanted more light in there, and it was just the wrong thing to do. Lets a little light in but way too much heat to be worth it. We have a super complicated shade over it all the time.
In case you are a helicopter parent looking for advice: If you were actually worried about the sun exposure from skylights, you will drown from the eventual leaks in your skylights before you will die from any possible skin cancer afforded by the sun exposure from your skylights. Hope this helps! |
