I'm looking for recommendations for a small (6x5?) shed for garden tools. The site is pretty sloped so well definitely need a solid footer and the area is oddly shaped, so dimensions aren't terribly negotiable. Does anyone have suggestions for a carpenter or prefab shed company? |
Are you against HD or Lowes? They usually sell a flat-fee setup package with their sheds. |
We bought our shed from Stolfutz Sheds. They also have an associated business that will install the shed pad. Good quality and they were easy to deal with.

No, I'm not against them but their inventory seems rather inflexible, which might not work given the limitations of my space. I'll take a harder look though. |
I had a similar problem and eventually found a ton on line in shapes that would seem to work for you, since you want a fairly square shed. I needed a longer, narrow shed, talked with some carpenters, concluded the cost was prohibitive, and built it myself. But For squares of all sizes, I think you can find something pre-fab. |
Check with your city or county code department. Many have height restrictions and have to be x number of feet from a fence or plot line. |
