sunroom furniture

we recently moved into a house that has a sunroom, any recommendation about furniture?

Light or white colored furniture, maybe white slip covers that can be thrown in the wash. That way it's a functional room and no furniture gets ruined from the sun hitting it.

This and don't under estimate the amount of dust and pollen that covers everything when the windows are open. Also we hve found a sweeping station to be helpful as anything food or organic left of the floor for meer mins will attract bugs. We put a rugged Picnic table and it has become a family gathering spot for games and meals

Maybe some of the outdoor patio furniture - wicker/ratan with colorful cushions and matching tables.

Get it with high enough backs and soft enough cushions that it is really comfortable to sink into. I made a mistake and bought nice-looking furniture but it is just too low-backed for daily enjoyment. It's nice when we're entertaining, but the rest of the time - too low. We'll be replacing it.

NP here - love the suggestions as I, like OP, have a sunroom in our new house and am looking for furniture. I like the white slip cover idea. But where is the best place to shop (store and online)?

There is a store at Tysons if you want to try them for comfort.

We have a screened porch but I hate to put furniture out there because of all the dust/pollen! Any tips?

WHY do you have a screen porch, then?

Do you mean regular furniture? On a screened in porch your best bet is too use patio furniture even though it's not totally outside and exposed to the elements. That is especially true for the cushions and pillows, regular fabric will fade way too quickly. We have found that we don't get noticeable build up of pollen on our cushions, the only place it's really obvious is the surface of the dining table but not a whole lot you can do about that, we just clean ours a lot. We also got a pretty nice outdoor type of table cloth that we keep around, something we can throw over the table in a pinch. They have some nice ones at target that are not expensive.

Agree - I went to an outdoor furniture store and got some nice furniture there for mine.
