| I did a series of 6 laser treatments at my derms office (a groupon) & it never occurred to me to tip the girl. I've just got another one for an aveda salon & when I made the appt, the girl mentioned that gratuity should be cash or check. Did I totally stiff the girls at the derms office or I'm only supposed to tip now since it's a salon? And how much should I tip??? |

I did not tip for laser treatment at a medical office (that seemed to do primarily cosmetic medical treatments).
I don't know, that's kind of a hard question. I can't see myself tipping more than $10 a session (depends on what they're doing/how long, I guess - my sessions were in and out in less than 15 minutes). And I wouldn't feel too happy about that given the cost. |
| Op here again. Yeah, this is for bikini (not Brazilian) so it's fast! |

I also have a Groupon and tip $5, but I'm doing full legs + bikini. I would probably tip $3 for just bikini.
In some offices it's so awkward. This place has a tip jar, which is a little tacky but at least it's clear! |
| No you don't tip. Do you tip your doctor? Dermatologist? |
| I didn't. |
| I've had it done numerous times and never tipped. That's outrageous; it's a medical office. |
| OP again. I didn't tip at at medical office but now going to a salon, hence the question. Are you supposed to tip there? |
| I'd say yes, tip at a salon. |
