What's the best site for nonprofit (NGO) job openings? The Washington Post & careerbuilder aren't great, so I was wondering if there's a go-to site I'm not aware of.
idealist.org
Many specific NGOs (especially larger ones) have their own websites with jobs.
I would set-up a search on indeed.com. While not perfect, it will draw many - if not most - of the job postings on idealist, the individual websites, and elsewhere on the WWW.
Also depends on the industry...www.devex.com if you are looking for international development non-profits
Thanks, I'll take a look at them all!

asaenet.org

And lobbying/communications etc. check out Brad Traverse: http://www.bradtraverse.com/
You pay $5/month but many jobs are not otherwise posted. I've had friends who have had good luck with it. |

Definitely ASAE. In my mind, still gold standard for nonprofit gigs.
I found mine on the org's actual website when I was searching for information on their site. Kind of a fluke. |
If you're looking for international development jobs: internationaljobs.org Not as good as devex but another option
I have found all my npo jobs (in recent years) via indeed. I would check idealist and asae, but 99% of the time these were on indeed. Indeed covers everything (for instance I work for the Foundaton of a university - I would never have found it without indeed - since they posted it on a higher ed job site)
