I need one for my storage-deprived bathroom. Anything more than 26 inches wide would be great- especially if it's pretty tall too. Wood, not mirrored. I can't seem to find anything that is bigger than the dinky one that's there now!

You might want to go to a cabinet place and have one made. |
What do you think that might cost? |
Robern is the best. Mine is flush mount, 5' tall and has outlets and a lockbox. |
Kohler makes a big three panel one that they sell a wood frame for -we got a custom trim done.

I think the problem is that most medicine cabinets are meant to be recessed between the studs of the walls which are usually 16" apart. That is why you can't find a wider one. To put a wider one in there, you'd have to cut the wall studs and build a wood frame inside the wall to support the wider cabinet. That's a big effort for a cabinet. Your best is to put two medicine cabinets side-by-side with a stud going between them. |
OMG you are right. Mind=blown. That is exactly what I should do. Thanks!!! - OP |
We just got two big honkin' wall-mount medicine cabinets from Home Depot. I went to HD with contractor and just pointed to the biggest ones they had, and I am so glad we did! I can't find the product on the website but they had tons in stock at the store, so probably not a rare item. |
