We just moved into our first single family home. It's in a wooded area. I'm wondering what kind, if any, insect control we need to be doing. We're finding a lot of spiders (I probably kill about five a day) and little bugs in our house now that spring has arrived. It doesn't bother us too much, but I'm thinking maybe we're supposed to be preventing this, or maybe not. Do most home owners do any preventative insect control around the perimeter of their house? |
No way. Smash the pests (mosquitoes, etc.) and leave the spiders be (or, if they bug you, put them outside). Definitely don't put down poison for bugs that aren't even a problem. |
No, other than termites if you have them. |
I spray and lay down bifen granules. Safe for food handing areas. Spiders can suck ny balls. |
