Ferragamo or Gucci?

Thoughts on the best pair of deal sleds for a young guy in a yuppie but conservative workplace? Business casual daily attire, but snappy business not undershirt and pleated dockers casual.

To me Ferragamo is more conservative and classy, whereas Gucci is more flashy in a nouveau riche kinda way.

Not at all same.
Ferragamo (for men esp) has beautifully crafted shoes that do not blast the label. You can find subtle, gorgeous bags and shoes. Gucci, is well, Gucci. With many imitators. Full disclosure, I am a woman and I own a pair of both. I have a seriously ancient pair of Gucci loafers that I absolutely love, and still wear. Same for my Ferragamos. If I were buy new, I would buy Ferragamos sans obvious label.

And then there is Hermes. Sigh...

Hermes sells the most horrendous sandals ever made.And people buy it for $800 because it's Hermes.lol
