microdermabrasion/ IPL

Has anyone had a laser or microdermabrasion procedure for lackluster skin and brown spots (sun damage, age spots)? I'm approaching 39 and really feel like I need to peel a layer off my face to appear more refreshed. I think I would prefer to see an actual M.D. as opposed to someone at a spa. Any recommendations? Prefer DC, but willing to travel for the right doc. Thanks.

I second Dr Alster, I recently consulted with her. I think they can fix almost anything! I am starting with peels but we may go to IPL depending how it goes. Definately give her a call.

I go to Donna Sullivan. She is not an MD, but it part of a Plastic Surgery group. She is wonderful...and I've seen some high profile patients at the office always fun!
