When did you hear a heartbeat?

I had my FET on May 7th and it was a BFP. I went in today for my first ultrasound. Doctor measured me at 6 weeks on the dot (although technically if you go by freeze date I am 5 weeks and 4 days). For those who did IVF/FET, when did you hear a heartbeat? We didn't have one today, but there was a sac, a fetal pole and the pregnancy is in the uterus. Doctor didn't seem to be concerned about the fact that there was no heartbeat, but I didn't ask.

With an FET, don't think I head it until close to the 8 week mark if i am remembering correctly.

OP, this is all sounding very good. Congratulations! We didn't see a heartbeat until 8-9 weeks.

My IVF one was later. With my natural pregnancy, I heard it at 5w2 days which the dr said was literally the soonest possible.
With my IVF, I went in at 6 weeks and didn't hear it I was devastated. Had to go back a week later, and there it was.

I think we were also around 8-9 weeks before hearing it. But you should be able to see it next time....

congrats. I am 10 weeks today from my FET. I personally still have not heard it. But, the heartbeat was measured by RE at 6 weeks 4 days.

Saw the HB (could not hear it) at 6w3days...but baby measured 6 weeks exactly. Went back 4 days later and HB was there and baby had grown.

I am the OP of this thread...currently 26 weeks! There shouldn't be a difference between a fresh or a frozen (or if there is, it's minimal). It is checked with a transvagianal ultrasound - the one they use to check for follicle growth. I heard it at 6 weeks 6 days, which was my second appointment. First one, no HB - just the sak and fetal pole at 6 weeks.
