Recommend Your Favorite Gray Paint And Countertop Choices

We're finishing our basement and are likely going with a gray/white/turquoise color scheme. Not completely matchy-matchy, but roughly in that zone. Our style is probably on the "transitional" side of contemporary. Not highly stylized. And very relaxed given that it's the basement.

We're overwhelmed on Houzz and Pintrest and would love to hear people's favorite paint colors in the gray family. FWIW, the sectional will be medium/dark grey. Soft minky fabric. Informal. Open floor plan, but we could break up or define the spaces with multiple/complementary paint colors.

Also trying to pick a countertop for the small kitchenette area and bathroom vanity. Both will have white cabinets. Again, something in the gray/white family, but not too dark.

Ideas?

I use Moonshine by Benjamin Moore and Olympic no-VOC off the shelf white of BM Decorators White for trim. It's subtle and doesn't overwhelm the space.

Moonshine is very pretty. We used Benjamin Moore Grey Owl and we love it. It's pretty soft.

For the countertop, we have Caesarstone in Raven in our kitchen and I love it. It is on the darker end of the spectrum, but I think it looks great with white cabinets.

For a marble look countertop the ones I see mentioned most often are Silestone Helix and Silestone Lagoon. Still trying to decide between the two myself.
