WMs, how many hours do you work per week?

I hate to add more hours to my work day, but I need the income. I miss my kids, but then tell myself the bills are not going to pay themselves, enrichment activities aren’t free and feeding 3 kids is expensive.

How many hours you work? Do you work weekends?

I work about 45 hours a week.

I work about 40 hours a week but, if I have to, I'll do some work at home (like tonight) or on a weekend.

It all depends on what's happening at work. Some weeks I may work 30 and other weeks, 35-40. I don't spend 8 hours a day in the office and will work at night to catch up. My husband was laid off last year, and I was working part-time, but have since been working more hours. It's been ok, even though at the time I felt like it was tragic. As long as my job gets done, no one questions my hours. I prefer to keep it under 35 though

also, varies depending on the week. On average, between, 35-50. Just remember that nothing is set in stone and it is only a short term solution for your family!

40 give or take, depending on work load. Mercifully, my boss isn't a clock watcher. He doesn't care if I skimp on hours if slow or if I finish work in the evening.

Same with me. I feel like a huge slacker most of the time, but then again, I deliberately chose something less challenging so that I could get everything done within a family-friendly schedule.

I'm currently on a 24 hour per week schedule (4 days of approx. 6 hours each). I have agreed to increase hours during June - August since most colleagues take vacation time then. Not looking forward to working more hours, but it will be nice to have some extra money (contemplating some home renovations).

30-50 + some weekends and holidays. Yuck.

32 hours a week in the office, never on the weekends or evenings, maybe an extra couple of hours during my day off in crunch times.

32 hours a week - over 4 days. Never on weekends, and very, very rarely on evenings (like maybe answering a quick question on e-mail every once in a blue moon).

Goal is to eventually work one of those days from home!

May I ask, where do you work.. government? in house? firm?

I'm in a firm, with longer hours, and always keeping an eye out for other options. Thanks.
