Washington Post story: http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/local/wp/2015/05/20/rich-d-c-residents-like-to-cheat-on-their-spouses-according-to-dating-web-site-for-cheating-spouses
Is anyone surprised by this? If so, is it the CH part, or the DC in general part? |
| I think it's more likely that DC is the town with the highest rate of relying on a paid system for your adultery needs. In other places, people wait for an opportunity to cheat. In DC, people are too busy/awkward/whatever to do it naturally. |
You sound old. The young whipper snappers use Tinder. |
No, I think the PP was just generally addressing the spurious assumption the OP made. The fact that AM has more subscribers from DC than any other does not necessarily mean DC has the highest % of cheating spouses (nationwide). Classic ecological fallacy. |
^^ it's also clear that the Post's writer does not even know how to interpret quants. It seems all this is based on the 59000 subscribers, of which about 5900 (or 10.4%) give a Capitol Hill zip code. Clearly 59000 or 5900 are much too small a sample to base this claim; or even to assume that 5900 represents 10.4% of all Capitol Hill residents. So who is Perry Stein anyway? |
You sound stupid with poor reading comprehension. Since you're a internet native who maxes out at 140 characters and can't follow a thought. Young whipper snappers aren't married and therefore don't have spouses to cheat on. |
