Changing company name?

| We have a small corp. in VA and wish we could drop one part of our company name. We already own the domain name and I've searched for conflicts. Before I trigger billing from the attorney, does anyone have any experience with this? We thought about filing a DBA, but don't know if that's more hassle than changing our name. The name change is not a deal breaker, but we've sort of changed directions since we began and one of the words just doesn't fit anymore. Thanks! |

| I wonder if a vendor like CT Corporation could help you with this? I know we used them in the distant past to help us form a new company where I work. |
