If you recently went to an all-white theme with your bedding and are happy with the quality/comfort/look, do you have a link to what you bought? We need new sheets, a bedspread and bedskirt.
Thanks so much |
I don't have a brand recommendation - but invest in a big container of oxyclean. The bedskirt won't be hard to keep clean, but I just could not keep white sheets clean over the long haul. I ended up going to tan and find it much better for us. We're clean people too, shower before bed and no animals/kids/food in bed, don't watch TV in bed, etc.
Bedspread depends on if you fold it back every night or actually use it as a blanket. If you use it as a blanket be prepared for the top edge to get oddly dirty, oddly quickly. |
I love my all white bedding. I definitely agree with PP on oxyclean!
I have 2 sets of these sheets: http://t.jcpenney.com/tablet/jsp/browse/pp/product.jsp?Ntt=&ppId=18a2da7&categoryId=cat100250068&subcatId=&deptId=dept20000012®Id=&cmcatId=cat100250046¤tDim=&dimCombo=¤tDimVal=&dimComboVal=&grMode= I do not use a bedspread or bed skirt though. In the winter I use a duvet and in the summer I use a white quilt that I bought at Nordstrom during their Anniversaey sale. |
Ikea duvet and shams. Wash with a capful of bleach.
I have many pets |

Their matelasse style coverlets are light enough for summer and have very classy quilting design details. Looks esp. good If you get the coordinating shams. Sheets pratesi and sferra, both holding up nicely. |
these linen sheets from lands end are heavenly and wash very well. they are getting softer and softer.

Thanks everyone--this is very helpful. If there are any more ideas, please keep them coming. In particular, any recs for bedskirts? |
I bought this cotton quilt and shams set for the summer.
