I am looking to understand how noticeable this is. I would like it not to be noticed at work....should I work from home the day that I get this hooked up?
I wore a suit jacket and a scarf, and I don't think it was noticeable. But I will say that it was much bulkier than I expected. I would work from home if that's an option, but check with your doc -- usually they want you to do normal activities, so not sure if that matters.

I just finished a three week period with a Holter.
The only way for it *not* to be noticed, in my opinion, is if you dress in separates and hide it with scarves and jackets. It's the size and shape of an 80s walkman. With wires. Can you tell I hated it? After two days, I got tired of it and of hiding it and just wore it openly. If I had a dress on, I wired through the neckline and wore it on the neck carrier. If I wore a skirt, I ran the wires through the bottom of my top and connected it to the hip carrier. That was less obvious. I still hated it so very very much. |
I think there must be different models: mine was the size of an 80s pager. It didn't have a carrier, either - just a belt clip. I let the wires go down my shirt (which I left untucked) and it wasn't noticeable at all. One of the leads was pretty high on my chest, though, so I had to consider necklines.
OP here. picked mine up to day. There must be different models. Mine is the size of an 80s Walkman (at least) and it doesn't clip onto my belt, but has a belt with it to put around my waist. I did decide to get it on a non-working day just b/c of how noticeable it is.
