Here's a long shot, but I'm hoping someone has a suggestion:
Do you know any doctors in the DC area (ENT or other) who specialize in treating BPPV? (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo)? http://www.tchain.com/otoneurology/disorders/bppv/bppv.html I have located someone in DC, Dr. Fitzgerald, but he is not a preferred provider in my insurance company (Federal Program BCBS). So I'm looking for alternatives. |

My Dad had this and he's a physician. His friend, an ENT treated him. I think you are safe with a good ENT.
Good luck! |
| I know PT's also treat this...but you would want to find someone who is a vestibular specialist. You can check at www.apta.org for ones near where you live. |
| Any ENT will be able to do the Epley manuever for you. Find one with an on-site audiologist for most efficient treatment. |
