Internet keeps shutting down when on this site.

Anonymous
It doesn't seem to happen on any other sites I'm on. Started last night. I rebooted my ipad, but that didn't help.

Is the issue on my end?

Thx

I don't quite understand what you mean by "internet keeps shutting down." Do you mean that your browser crashes, or that you are unable to connect to the website? Do you get any kind of error message? Is there something particular you are doing when this happens such as trying to post, read a topic, etc? If so is it consistent (e.g. every time you load a certain page) or random?

Sorry. It's crashing. I can immediately relaunch it and it brings me back to what I was reading. It seems to only do this when I'm scrolling down on a thread, not when I'm launching something.

As you can tell by my lack of appropriate vocabulary, I'm not very technical, so this could be entirely on my end.

I suggest going to "Settings" on your iPad, scrolling down to "Safari" and then clicking "Clear History and Website Data". You might have some Javascript that is cached and causing a problem. Otherwise, I don't know what might be causing the crashes. I use my iPad quite a bit and haven't seen similar crashes. On my iPhone, I've been getting a lot of crashes when I move messages, but you wouldn't be doing that. Since your are only scrolling, I don't think your issue is related to mine.

I also have a problem with DCUM crashing my browser semi-frequently on the iphone. Nothing seems to work but I just open safari again and soldier on.

Thanks, Jeff. I will give that a shot.

Have a great weekend.

It doesn't crash for me on the laptop - but frequently does so if I try to access the site on my iPhone. I think its just to much for the iPhone to handle in terms of data.
