Every child is treated as an individual. There are some students with autism that can and are served in their neighborhood school. And there are some whose needs have to be met in an enhanced autism class. You and the IEP team will determine which setting is most appropriate. If you are currently at Franconia, I believe Rose Hill has an enhanced aut class. Lynbrook may as well. Again, just because a student has autism, it doesn't mean it's appropriate for that student to be in an enhanced aut class.
