Norwood and WES anyone get rejected this year?

Just curious. Had heard Norwood it was a big sib year for K.

I'm not sure if this is true but I heard that WES had only 1 non-sib spot in kindergarten.

Most of Norwood's spots supposedly went to sibs.
Anonymous
Likely not true as we are nonsib and we got in for K>

My DC was accepted to both Norwood and WES, and is a non-sib.

We were rejected at WES for K.

Nope, doesn't seem that way.

W/L at WES. Regardless of how many spots were available at each school, this year wasn't the easy year to get in as we had predicted (because of the economy). But it will be interesting to see how many people accept and how fast the wait lists move.

Are you implying that the economy made it harder to get in, or that the economy will make the waitlists move faster?

Many thought that the crummy economy would translate to fewer applications and less competition. Doesn't appear to be the case. But maybe fewer families will actually sign the contracts? Maybe this year, the wait list will actually move? One can only hope.
