If Your Child Goes to a PGCPS Charter School Not Close To Home, What Transportation Do You Use?

We are interested in a few charter schools (CMIT, College Park Academy) that are not close to our home? Just curious about what modes of transportation folks are using. It is my understanding that some charter schools provide transportation and others do not. I don't want transportation to be the reason my DS can't have the charter school option.

CMIT does not provide transportation. There are several bus companies that serve CMIT.

Do you find out about these bus companies after you have accepted placement to CMIT? Do they have pick up areas near the Upper Marlboro area? TIA!

Hi - we did actually accept a placement, and we live in Upper Marlboro. Yes, they have pick up areas near Upper Marlboro. Some of them do hub stops, and then others do personal stops (for an extra fee).
