This is so bizarre. Both are really great programs. Just don’t understand why this has gone so far off the rails. WTF. Good night.

Whatever the model, it’s working for Capital. The market ultimately decides success v failure. Recruiting is how every HS club’s strength is determined and Capital has proven it has that formula down.

No one said that Capital is not successful but way to move the goal post.

Oh right!!! Forgot that you get to decide what’s said here .. ttttttthat’s on me.

You just lost the argument about clinics/camps soundly and tried to make it into something else. You are free to make all the stupid comments you’d like. It is entertaining.

And you lost the argument that every other MD camp offers camps and clinics to scout talent. Divert the discussion any way you want — non profit v profit, whatever — every club holds camps to generate revenue and identify potential players. And every player who wants exposure to said clubs will pay to do it.

You are like a dog with a bone. Tenacious just not very bright.

Then why does a Google search for “Hero’s Pre Tryout Clinic 2024” reveal a page that once was active on Hero’s website? Tagline still reads: “HERO'S 2024. PRE-TRYOUT CLINIC. WE WELCOME ALL CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE 2024 GIRLS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING.” Search it yourself - let us know if you need some help?

You Capital parents are a sad lot. This was for the 2024 class girls and several years ago. It must’ve worked too, as Hero’s Green finished ahead of Capital Blue 2024 in each of their years as a team. Maybe all you Capital parents should be asking Hero’s to start these up once again so you can come train with a better team before tryouts.

IIRC, even your vaunted 2025 team got spanked down by HG in the fall of their freshmen year. I’ve heard stories on how your coaching staff looked like debate Joe Brandon on the sidelines that game - dazed and confused.

But yet you must have selective memory. Capital 25 completely owned Hero's moving forward. Hero's 25 Green record vs Capital was 1 win. 1 tie, 7 losses including play-days. Also have selective memory from their game in Dallas at Presidents Cup. Capital put on a 15-3 beat down on Hero's. (Talk about a coach looking like Joe Biden!! )
But- yeah, keep having a Cialis moment in your ONE and only win over three year span against Capital in the very first game for both teams [i]their freshman year. Congrats on that 1-7 overall record vs. Capital Blue.

Oh, Bless your heart!

Wow- if this is true, then some overzealous Hero's parent just got shut down.

Explain.

Is the link supposed to reference a Hero’s parent?

The post was a tad confusing, I think it was a rebuttal from a Capital parent to a Hero's 25 Green parent who keeps bringing up Heros one and only win over Capital in a 3 year span.

I actually believe it might be the other way around.

Sad thing about this team is that there are a couple of girls who are legit players. Hope they move to Blue next year.

I don’t think one of the orange goalies is NL, but I could be wrong.

They are both from healthy baller travel

Do any goalies make Cap who don't do Healthy Baller?

I think Pride and eventually Stars will displace Capital. Look at the websites. Capital does not have anything updated for at least 2-3 years. Pride showcases their most recent commits and keeps their web presence current. Want to see a roster of 26 or 27 teams? Not on Capital but you can see 22. Congrats to the girls that made Pride and hope the fire is there to prove Capital made mistakes.

Which teams did pride black pull from this year?

Haha. Pride is falling apart and Stars is just bad. I do think there will be a challenger to Capital at some point, but it won't be those two.

This is what looks like happened now that tryouts are done. Pride Red became Capital Blue….Stars Light Blue became Pride Red and Capital Orange got a mishmash of the two along with Pride White and Stars Navy.
