Negative test frustration....

Anonymous
First, I can't stop testing. I'm torturing myself.
I had two prior miscarriages in less than a year and this month is really tough.
I'm technically 5 days late at this point. All tests are negative.
But I feel pregnant.
My boobs are huge veiny and up a cup size with those white dots that are supposed to mean pregnancy.
Now I am on promethium so I suppose that could be doing it. But I just feel pregnant and the meds ever did that before.
Is it bc I'm taking them too long?
I will have a beta on Friday to confirm negative and Stop the progesterone.

Last pregnancy which ended in miscarriage btw I only got a positive at 8 days late.
I had brown spotting just once on Thursday and nothing since.
The last 2 cycles I got my period while on the promethium and then stopped taking it.
I think my fear is I stop taking the meds and find out a couple days later that I've ruined a potentially viable pregnancy.
It's possible I ovulated late, but my chart is inconclusive. Really I should be at least 14 dpo by now.
Just venting I guess and I'm just so confused.
Anyone have advice or in a similar boat?

That's supposed to say prometrium. I insert the oral pills vaginally. 200 mg.

I know it's frustrating...I've been there too many times. But keep taking the meds until your beta. And quit symptom spotting. Yes, your symptoms can be from the meds. But it could also be from a BFP. You just don't know. And we on the internet just don't know either. For every story 'that is just like yours' that leads to a BFP, you will hear a story 'that is just like yours' that leads to a BFN.

Take a deep breath and do something distracting and just hold on until your Beta

Good Luck!

Well I started to have some bleeding this am.
It's not a period yet just some light spotting but I'm going to assume I can't be pregnant.
I'll still go get the beta tomorrow.
Bc i will want to know if it was an early chemical or basically just symptoms in bc my head and a delayed period.
I still hate to get a beta basically knowing it will say not pregnant.
I don't need more reminders.....

Bleeding does not mean you are not pregnant at all. I bled for the first 8-10 weeks of my pregnancy.

Thanks. That's why I'm not stopping the progesterone, but I just hate to keep my hopes up.
This thing with my breasts is crazy. It's hard to believe the changes are all from progesterone
Hopefully my beta tomorrow helps me understand or move on.
I hate clinging to hope bit don't want to give up either.

Progesterone can absolutely make your boobs sore as ever! In my last fresh cycle, my boobs were so sore I could barely touch them (nipples very sensitive too). It was a bfn. Not saying it is a BFN for you, but that progesterone can absolutely have that effect!

It's the new breast changes I didn't see the other months from the progesterone messing me up
My breasts are not only huge but the nipples are huge and have 20+ if these white dots showing that I think are montgomery tubercules
It seems so cruel to have these changes if not pregnant

This also happened to me repeatedly OP. I was charting with clear O and my period would show up 4-5 days late sometimes with a faint BFP and other times none. It turned out I had implantation problems. Once those were addressed I had back to back successful pregnancies (after 8 first trimester losses and several other suspected implantation failures).

How did you fix implantation issues?

I went for the beta at 8 am still hopeful.
But, my period has started I think. It's not just spotting anymore and I'm having that vaginal cramping I usually get.
Another month....
The beta will help me at least see if I was actually pregnant maybe
The upside is that my period was late a week but I may still ovulate pretty soon, so I guess here's to trying again.
I'm on some medications that are supposed to be helping but I guess it isn't working.
I've been able to get pregnant, I just can't keep a pregnancy.

How did you fix implantation issues?

Neupogen primarily plus a cocktail of prednisone and intralipids

The fact that it worked twice in a row means there is such a thing that causes issues (debated by some REs) and that it is treatable if you have a doctor who knows how to recognize and treat it.

Here's an update. I didn't get my beta back yet, but I bled pretty heavily and passed a lot of tissue. I assume this was some sort of miscarriage. It certainly followed all the same patterns.
I think this is my 4th now.
I am so beside myself and sobbing.
This is so so hard.

Thanks! I've done prednisone and lovenox but that still doesn't seem to work. I will ask my RE about neupogen.
