I need a new one. We need one that has a plate (3 holes) with a pull down spout. What brands are best and worst? What do you love or hate?
I want one that's a bit more modern than traditional, maybe like this: http://www.faucetdirect.com/pfister-gt529-al-alea-3-function-pullout-spray-high-arc-kitchen-faucet-with-accudock-sprayhead-flex-line-supply-lines-and/p2217649 Ideas? TIA! |
My plumber swears by deltas. |
Interesting, I wouldn't have guessed that. Thanks PP! |
I picked out a Delta at Home Depot and my plumber was really pleased with it! |
My plumber says Delta is terrible and that Moen is the best. He said that you have to pay for replacement parts for Delta but that Moen sends free parts if something breaks.
Go figure, I have Deltas everywhere in the house, and 3 fixtures have broken in the past 2 years, so I am inclined to believe Delta is junk. |
Look at the Grohe Ladylux models. I think you can get a base plate to cover the holes. I've been very happy with Grohe kitchen faucets in current house and last one. |
Grohe Ladylux is my favorite. http://www.trulylovelykitchen.com/kitchen-faucet-reviews/ |
I hate them all now. They all have those evil water restrictors. Takes forever to fill a pot or to fill the sink. Drives me crazy. |
My plumber stays stay far away from the glacier bay brand of faucets and HD. |
We got a Vigo brand sink and faucet from Overstock for a kitchen remodel. We've liked the look and quality of both. |
My plumber told me Delta is awful because they do not follow through on warranty issues. They give a lifetime warranty but then demand all sorts of evidence in order to claim the warranty. We ended up getting a Moen which is what he recommended.
Also he said American Standard toilets are terrible. He said Gerber all the way. |
My plumber recommends Grohe, Hansgrohe, and Moen. Delta is crap. |
