Union Market here in DC

I have never been to Union Market but wanted to check it out tomorrow with family members visiting from out of town. It's supposed to be a very hot day. Is the market covered/indoors, or is it outdoors?

It is completely indoors. Great place!

It is indoors. Has amble parking. I believe the only day it is closed is Mondays.

It is indoors and the parking is great, but be warned that it is mostly just a lunch stop and not really a ton more.

There are a few places to buy stuff (I recommend the spice bazaar stand, Salt N' Sundry is nice to browse if overpriced, the knife shop is interesting) It is a good place to get lunch especially at an off hour so you miss the rush - it does get crowded. There is outdoor seating - sort of a beer garden - as well. I found the chowder at Rappahanock Oyster Bar to be a bit too smoky.
