Did you wait for marriage to have sex?

Anonymous
If so, do you ever wonder what it's like to be with another partner sexually?

I'm just curious. I didn't wait for marriage (Not that I had a lot of partners).

No.

Nope, I think waiting until marriage is a terrible, archaic idea.

I couldn't agree with you more. Way too risky.

PP here. I had 12 partners before marriage and I do not regret a single one, even though some were duds. I own my sexuality and enjoyed every bit of it. I actually wish that I had had more partners, ha ha. I am a woman.

No. 95% of Americans are ok with premarital sex, whether they had it or not. I don't think you'll find too many here who say they waited. But I think it's natural for anyone to wonder about different or more partners.

Oh gosh, I think a few times I didn't even wait until we were dating...

No. I've had sex with two men and one of them is my husband. I would not have married him if we hadn't had sex first. Not even sure I'd have agreed to get engaged.

Including DH

DH is my one and only, but it really wasn't a plan. It just worked out that way. He was my first serious boyfriend.

We have a great sex life. 20+ years and going strong.

You would be surprised how many people I know that wait for religious reasons.

PP here. Religion is for the most part terrible and archaic, so your response does not change mine.
