Spoilers -- Mad Men 5/10

Wow didn't see Betty's plot line coming. There has been a lot of talk about the DB Cooper plot line for Don but now I just can't believe Weiner would off Don and Betty.

Good for Pete and Trudie. Good for Joan. Think we will not see them next week. I think Peggy has been closed too. And also Roger closed without closure and last scene of him at the piano in the old SC&P office.

Any new predictions for Don next week? The season has been slow but last night really showed how great the series can be.

Watched a few season ago and lost interest -- so was Betty killed last night?

Agree...great episode! I still can't believe Betty's story line. So bummed that this is ending!

I thought it was a great ep too. I'm not hugely surprised by her story line, and I especially loved how Sally suggested that she "loves the tragedy" - so true of Betty I think, and I think Betty does not disagree with that statement. Don't forget they gave us a Betty Cancer scare last season or season before, maybe that's partly why I wasn't too surprised.

I DO wonder though if she'll have another great scene with Don next week, I doubt they'd finish her story without telling Don directly.

I agree Peggymay be closed but I'd really love a last, great scene between her and Don, as they've really been the characters this show is about, and they have always had the most complex relationship of the show.

The thing about Betty which no one has mentioned yet - she dies young, and still beautiful. She picked out the dress she wants and how she'd like her hair done.

Going back to the episode which dwelt largely on the "good looks" of Don and Betty, this is a fitting end for her.

So true.

Honest question: How good will she really look by th time she actually dies? I am so bummed about Betty's ending.

I think Peggy and Sally will be in the final episode.

I think she dies much sooner, just walking up the stairs to class, the last scene we saw her in.

I haven't been watching.
What's going on with Peggy, and how did Pete and Trudy end up?

Yes, she's going to look good. She's not going to have years of cancer treatment ravaging her looks. She's been given what, a maximum of 9 months?

She'll be a bit thinner, is all.

Very unrealistic with Betty's cancer. Cancer that has metastasized that far -- hugely painful. Also she would have lost a great deal of weight.
