ISO recs for king size bed frame for small space

| DH won't go back to a queen, so don't bother with that suggestion. Moving into a great apartment but the MBR only has one wall space where we can put a bed. Between the door frame to bathroom and a small hallway, the wall will permit a bed only - no nightstands/tables, etc. WWYD here? Any suggestions for good looking frames which may offer some storage in the headboard? Don't need a lot of space, but a bit would go a long ways. TIA. |

| Ikea MALM is pretty nice/slim for the price and has a piece that can go behind the headboard so you have some space behind you to put stuff on, and then these shelves pull out of the side. I had it in a small space and really liked it - assuming they still sell the same configuration. |
