I want to order some stuff from Boden, would you say their clothes run true to size or small? I hate ordering stuff online that I haven't seen in person and I hate returning online orders even more.

I thought their stuff looked a lot better on line than in person. Just my opinion. I do like the online comments -- I found them quite helpful. However, after seeing some of their stuff in person I am not that enthusiastic about this brand any more.

I don't like Boden. The styles look cute, but I don't think they are well made and they are overpriced.

What are they comparable to? The Gap quality?

Definitely look at the comments as they tend to have great info about quality and sizing. It seems that the clothes run big so many times I have taken the commenters advice and ordered a size smaller. I would say that quality in comparable to the Gap.

I like Boden. I think it depends on the style as to whether it's good quality/overpriced. The tshirts, etc. are overpriced and some run small. The skirts I've found true to size or big and good quality.

I think they run big, but I'm a small person. Things that looks slightly fitted on the model are pretty baggy. I think their sweaters and t-shirts are nice - nicer than Gap. The few items I've bought are closer to J. Crew quality. Haven't bought any bottoms from them.

Kids clothes are nice too. Also plenty roomy.

I have a lot of Boden. Tops are NOT generous in chest area. Lengths of skirts, dresses and pants is usually excellent. Waists and hips are generous. I am a 10 but sometimes a 12 on top. I am 5'9. Cute styles, wash very well.

I really like Boden. I think they have patterns/styles that are different from the usual ho-hum Gap/J Crew stuff and I think the quality is the same as J Crew. Agree that they are not particularly generous in the chest area but I've found that they run pretty true to size. Just got this top:

I like their layered henleys. Bought a couple in the fall and love wearing them.
