watermelons -- good yet?

| Has anyone bought a good watermelon lately? (Sweet and crisp, not soft) If yes, could you please share at what store and what kind of watermelon (personal or full sized seedless)? Usually if I buy one too early in the year, it's too soft and sometimes rotten inside. |

We got a seedless personal one at Whole Foods last week. Enjoying the last of it with dinner tonight. Yum!

| I've bought so at Trader Joe's (one mini, one big one) and both were good. The big one was slightly better. |

| Big seedless ones have been on sale at giant the last couple weeks and the first one we got was good-- haven't tried the second. |

| It's just me who eats it (DH and DS are allergic!), so I bought the quarter melon that is in the fridge section at Giant. Bonus, you can see the color and poke through the plastic to test texture. It was SO good! |
