Filling in when someone is out

| If you have to fill in or cover for someone else while they are out, do they ask you to finish up the their work that you could not complete while they were out? I'm having this happen with a coworker who is out a lot. So I'm doing my job and hers while she's out, and because I couldn't get to it all I have to still help her out when she gets back? |
