I'm just curious what the norm is. My mom sends me cards, but my MIL doesn't. |
Mil sends cards sometimes, my mom doesn't. I think it's nice but kind of silly and wouldn't care if she stopped. |
My Mil does my mom doesn't. I don't care either way. MIL sends mushy cards (not my personality at all), seriously gag worthy, but she means well. |
Mom does.
MIL does not. |
My in-laws live in town so they stopped by yesterday and gave me a card and a bottle of wine. My parents are out of town, so my mom will call me. My family has never done much for gifts, so I don't mind at all. |
My mil always did before the dementia. She also remembered my birthday. My mom....never. |
I have no relationship with my mother, and haven't for over ten years, so none from her.
I get flowers and a card and usually something else from my in-laws. Gift card to a spa or for a pedicure or fancy candies or something. |
My mom sends a gift (small) and my MIL sends a card. |
No. None of mine have. They have seniority! |
Both |
Neither. And I'm fine with that. It's not that big of deal. I just like that Mother's Day is usually on a nice Sunday that I can enjoy. |
Mom does. MIL doesn't but then she never sends cards for anything, not even DH or grandkids birthdays. |
Mom sent me a card from her, a card from my DS (also got one from DH) and a card from my dog. She loves cards! Probably won't get one from mil. |
Same here. |
No. I'm not their mother. |
