Fair Ridge OBYGN vs Greenbriar OBGYN

They both deliver at Fair Oaks, they both have 3-4 doctors to rotate. I have heard a lot of great things about Fair Ridge and Zaita/Hodges but nothing about Dehal/Taub the two newest doctors. I heard Shin used to be in Fair Ridge but now is with Greenbriar.

Anyone deliver with them? How did it go?

I delivered with Fair Ridge twice now,'once with Dr hodges and once with Dr. Zaita. Had a great experience both times. I saw Dehal and Taub many times for appointments, and have no complaints about them. But I'm pretty low maintence and was lucky to have really easy deliveries, including one which was a VBAC. (C/s was my first baby, which was at Sibley.)

I haven't delivered yet but I am a patient at Fair Ridge. I've met all the doctors and have liked them all very much. I also love that the office is very responsive and I've had very little wait time each time I've been. I am always impressed that no matter which doctor I see, they all have obviously read my chart carefully and are able to pick up exactly where the last one left off.

When I was looking, I remember hearing negative things about the Nurse Practitioner at Greenbriar. I don't remember exactly what I was told but I just remember it pushed me to go to Fair Ridge. Although, I've heard enough positive things about them that I'm sure you can't go wrong with either.

I've only seen her once for a routine monthly visit. She was very friendly, very personable. She took time to answer my questions. I've so far (thankfully) had a very non-eventful pregnancy so my visits have been quick and to the point. I've just been surprised how nice and caring each doctor is and never rushes me.

I wasn't going to respond to this, because I went to Greenbriar 3 years ago and have since switched to midwives, so my info. isn't all that current. But it looks like they only have 1 new doctor, and I had a good experience there. Dr. Gopal did a wonderful job during my arduous first labor, stuck around to finish even though her shift was over and she was about to go on vacation, and was wonderful during my postpartum visit. I only had good experiences w/ the office. My chief complaint was having to go out of office for u/s and blood tests (although the lab is right downstairs in the same building), and I don't know if that differs from Fair Ridge.

Which midwive group and why did you switch? I heard Gopal can be really rude (based on online reviews). What about your labor was ardouos? Do you feel they are low intervention given your situation?
