Renting Furniture to Stage Rowhome for Selling?

Anonymous
We bought a home over a decade ago and brought older furniture with us. Now, after having two children who have pretty much trashed a lot of our furniture, we need to sell. We have been told that removing everything from the home is not the greatest idea. However, leaving our dated, worn furniture in the home would keep many a potential buyer from envisioning themselves in the home - they'd likely be too focused on the ratty furniture. Where is a good place to rent staging furniture (other than CORT); we wanted some modern, luxe pieces, if possible?

We used and liked an interior designer who mixed some of her and some of ours. I'll dig for the name if you need it. Small row house, about $3k but our house sold fast and we think staging had a lot to do with it. Guess we'll never know though.

Yes, I am interested in the name if you have it. Thanks in advance!

They do modern, clean-lined staging and are also really nice people.

Don't do it on your own. Hire a stager, as others have suggested. Lots of options in this area. Whatever you do, do not leave ratty furniture in the property.
