So what is your 'type'?

So I was reading the "Why are men so evil?" thread and it made me think about how much I like manly men. It made me curious about "types" and I'd love to know what others are attracted to.

As I said I love a "manly man". I've had four boyfriends in my life (including hubby) and they were all blonde/blue. 6'2 or over, athletic. Take charge, confident, responsible, a total gentlemen who feel obligated to take care of a girl. So I definitely have a type.

How about you? I'd love to hear some of the men's types too.

I tend to go for taller guys, great smiles, make me laugh, a little shy/geeky.

Husband is similar to what you describe: blond hair, blue eyed, alpha male. Tall, athletic, and a man's man. I've definitely always had a thing for blondes (I'm bi, btw, and it applies equally) but I have a few other types:

Women: black, typically the "bougie" type a la Porsha on RHOA (long hair, nice figure, very feminine); Asian, particlRly East Asian (again, love the long and beautiful hair, the petite figures, the beautiful features); and, as stated above, blonde. (I got to hug Dana Perino once...this was thrilling, as she embodies my type to a T.)

Men: Latino, with that thick, wavy hair (hair is a thing for me, I guess...) and soulful eyes, black guys, (Dwayne Wade, mmm), and blond guys.

I have nothing for non-ethnic brunettes.

Tall, slim and cute. Usually brown skin, but not always. Goatee. Professional guy and/or earning a decent/nice income (though not rich). Often an IT or engineering background. Often appears to be an Alpha male, but is actually kinda corny. I love that and go for that type over and over.

When did you determine you were bi? How does your DH feel about it?

Dark brown hair, blue/green/hazel eyes, broad shoulders, muscular arms and legs. Don't have to be tall but at least 5'7.

I like manly men as well.

By manly, I do not mean someone who is super athletic w/rock hard abs. (Though I wouldn't turn it down if offered..hahahaha...)

I mean a man who knows his place in society. Someone who would protect me from anything harmful. Not one of those guys who is afraid of everything.

I also like a man who knows how to fix stuff. Nothing is sexier to me than a man who can fix things around the house and also work on his car. H-O-T.

I don't like men who have high-pitched voices, who have certain feminine traits (I.e., have too much drama, are too anal about cleanliness, etc.)

The best thing in a man to me is one who makes me laugh out loud. As in real life...Not in a text message.

I don't have a type. I used to have 3 rules.

Have a job
Non alcoholic
No drug users.

Every boyfriend I've ever had has been unemployed, alcoholic and has used drugs. I have no rules now ugh

Tall, blond or brown hair, lighter eyes, kind, funny, smart, social, successful, athletic, liberal

DH is tall (6'3"), has light brown hair, green/hazel eyes. He's super smart, kind and successful. He's also a terrific athlete.

I only had 1 serious boyfriend before him (for 7 years in high school and college) and he had similar qualities that I like. That said, he turned out to be a conceited, conservative ass and I'm so glad I didn't end up marrying him.

On the 'Earthy-Crunchy' side w/ a sense of adventure, wanderlust, sense of humor (especially about themselves.)
*Think guy w/ a kayak on his car=)* Also, an element of class & sophistication....dark hair/eyes....
